It feels like watching embers die in a draught: experimental in the truest, most unsettling sense. I’d reach for this in that liminal pocket where a set needs disorientation rather than release. The CANO imprint clearly allows space for this kind of abrasion; I could slot it after a half-time bruiser or before something atmospheric and beatless, letting it function as a grey pivot. It leaves ash on the decks and a chill in the sub-bass that lingers longer than the track itself.
